Is anyone interested in a weekend sail out of Long Beach to Avalon the first weekend in November? I am tentatively planning on chartering Avalon (Dufour 375) starting at noon on Friday November 1 and returning Sunday Nov 3, heading to Avalon for at least the first night.
I have been sailing for about a year, have my 101/103/104 done, and have mostly done daysails, trying to expand my horizons and looking for others who want to do the same.

I would have been interested but I am out of the State most of November. I will keep you in mind if I am ever down that way and want to take out Merry Time.

I just saw your note so I'm late to the party but if you plan a trip in the next few weeks, I may be able to join you. I've been sailing for about 6 years and also have my 101/103 & 104. I live in Scottsdale and need a little lead time but not too much as long as my schedule permits.

Pete, get me your email address and I will let you know if and when I do another weekend sail. This past weekend we had 4 of us on the DuFour 375 (Avalon) and it was a great trip. We grilled steaks on Friday, eggs and bacon and coffee for both breakfasts, fancy meats and cheeses and crackers for snacks, and pasta with sausage on Saturday night, plus plenty of beer and wine. Turns out the Catalina Triathlon was Saturday morning, so that was a cool added bonus.
Next time I may step up to a 45 footer (Quiver 2??) and we can stuff 6 or more of us onboard for a fun weekend for around $300 each.
